New Stake Presidency Chosen for Centurion Stake

In the time- old biblical way, through direct revelation, new Centurion Stake Presidency leaders were called to serve in the Centurion Stake of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Sunday 11 May, 2014.

These congregations include Centurion, Tembisa and Kempton Park congregations among others.  “It is a Church of revelation”, taught Elder Cook, as he explained the process of calling a new stake presidency. He was teaching about the calling of David by Samuel the prophet from 1 Samuel 16. The Centurion Stake (like a diocese) was originally formed on 13 March 2011, this new presidency will consist of: Clive Martin-President, Andre Walters-First Counsellor and Ernest Makgomarela-Second Counsellor.  The new presidency encouraged members across the region to ‘move to higher ground’ as they continue to live even better lives following Jesus Christ.
