    Mormon Bishop Prays for New Nelson Mandela Children’s Hospital

    Nelson Mandela’s dream of a children’s hospital is coming about.

      Many religious leaders from the city were invited to attend and participate November twenty-fifth.

      Mrs. Graca Machel, former wife of Nelson Mandela, and Justice Yvonne Mokgoroare are chairpersons for the Hospital trust.  It was established in 2009 with construction beginning in 2014.

      The hospital will have family accommodations, supplied by the Ronald McDonald House Charities, allowing no visiting hour restrictions.

      The hospital has the very newest in equipment for testing, surgeries and care of children.  It is a wonderful addition to our neighbourhood.
